Our philosophy embodies all aspects of our practice, relationships and community. Through this we engage with concepts of place, learning, practice and aspirations to create and drive a learning culture.
Learn moreWindsor Community Children's Centre is unique in its approach to early childhood education. We strive to further our knowledge and practices to provide high quality education and care that gives children and families the best opportunities in preparation for their continued learning journey.
Learn moreWe run a flexible indoor/outdoor program that supports children’s overall development. Through our program children will be supported in the exploration of their emotional wellbeing, the enhancement of their social relationships and interactions, the nurturing of their creative and cognitive thinking skills as well as investigating their sense of self and physical development.
Learn moreWindsor Community Children’s Centre (WCCC), provides long day care and Kindergarten for children aged between six months and five years, from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm, for 50 weeks of the year.
We are a community-based, not-for-profit childcare centre and kindergarten run by a Board and Co-operative made up of parents and educators. This allows families to have a true voice in the direction of the centre that their child is attending.
We are committed to nurturing our children through best-practice early learning to become engaged, active and environmentally aware members of the community. As a centre we are underpinned by a number of documents including our Philosophy, the National Quality Standards, the Code of Ethics, the United Nations Rights of the Child, as well as the National and State Learning Framework. These inform all aspects of the Centre from our practice to our relationships and programs we run.
